Don't think I need to explain what happened when I first posted these pages but since the first book came out on Wednesday I'm finally able to post everything... at least the first 10pgs.This is the 9th page of the first ten page Nightrunner story I illustrated currently in Detective Comics Annual #12

Have you guys heard about how some assholes are protesting this book? Why is it impossible for a Muslim to be a superhero? A tale of a young man surrounded by violence and prejudice rising above it and protecting his neighborhood isn't something that should be discouraged; that's just good story telling.

Yes in this day in age ignorance, sadly, is still runs rampant. Check out the daily show clip I have posted here on my page. It really takes the piss out of the whole situation and at the same time points out the bigoted stupidity of those conservatives who have this hateful, pavlovian response the the words Muslim, and Islam.
Fear is a powerful thing when your mind is closed...
Honestly, hearing from people like yourself really reassures me that hope isn't gone yet.
