Description
With her smokebox covered up, Norfolk & Western #475 gets towed back to East Strasburg from Leaman Place after her collision this morning with a backhoe on her first run of the day. She suffered severe damage to her smokebox which will probably put her out of commission for an extended period of time. At present the Strasburg is down to one operational steam locomotive as #90 is also down for her 1472 FRA boiler inspection at the moment. Please excuse the poor quality of the photo....I had to shoot this with my crappy phone camera as my Nikon had a dead battery. November 2 2022. Ronks, Lancaster County Pennsylvania.
