Hdr image edited as close to "as seen" as possible.

Well, overall a beautiful contrast of human and nature. I like the way the clear sunlight penetrates through the clouds. The little telephone wires and the road along the left side of the mountain seems at first glance like geometrical lines. Almost giving it the appearance that you wanted to measure the mountain. The dark stone really highlights the glittering lake, along with the moss and grass. The small town to the right really tops it off, it completes the whole seen and the cohesion of nature and society plays very nicely, as if to say that we can live in unity.

It really was, and I shot and adjusted the image so that it is within 1% of having no details on the brightest part, which was just as it looked.

But actually there was not many there, I saw plenty elsewhere though.

Really? I only saw them there when I visited the islands last year. I guess theyΒ΄re just arriving at Moskenes, visiting Reine and maybe Nusfjord. But most of the time not all of the islands. ItΒ΄s a bit like the Neuschwanstein tourists weΒ΄re having here. Being there for some hours, taking maaaany pictures and leaving again. But these are mostly Chinese people...

hehe, yeah they do like northern Norway thats for sure.
Fun thing is that I see a lot of them roam around with cameras like the D4, 1dx and even medium format cameras, so they are certainly there to do some proper snapshots.

Expensive cameras are normal, I always see them walking around with DSLRs.
IΒ΄ve seen many Japanese and Chinese people in Gudvangen as well. Unsurprisingly, since
Nærøyfjord is a UNESCO World Heritage Site...

Well one have to keep in mind that there are many of them, and as they say about Norwegian, we are born with skis on our legs, I think japanese people are born with a camera wrapped around their necks.
