Im really itching to this pelt, however I'm so new to taxidermy its not even funny. Whats the difference between a wet tan and dry one if I may ask?

a wet tanned means it wasn't dried out after tanning. it can be dried and broken so that the skin turns to leather like normal. Most people like wet tanned skins for Lifesize mounting.

Would drying it mean leaving it out? Salting it? I'm not sure what broken means. My apologies for the many questions. I used to be one of those people that said how could you? Blah blah could say I matured since then

drying it out means that it just needs to be left out and as it dries it needs to be broken by stretching the skin. As the skin dries and you stretch it the skin will turn white and to leather, there is no salting needed it's already tanned there are youtube videos on it.

I got tired of waiting for the head stuff so started sewing/stuffing him/her up
This fox is really beautiful Im so glad I got to own it. Ive been debating wires. I do like the floppy nature but on the other hand wire will give more realistic joints and poses but can be awkward sometimes if you wanna cuddle it
