Description
You're an adventurer, treking across a strange land, and you have inadvertantly stumbled into the Sphinx's territory! Keep your wits about you, and think hard about each word you say. For your fate is now rests in her hands, and in her riddles...Answer her first riddle correctly, and she will let you live.
Answer her second riddle correctly, and she will aid you in your quest.
Answer her third riddle correctly...Well, you'd be pretty lucky if you answered her third riddle correclty...
Digitally colored, using 'hard' color over the raw pencil scan. Not entirely sure if the effect works. 'Hard' coloring might need some 'hard' ink lines to look right. Let me know what you think.

Would they be lucky or just very clever and well read? I suppose this is one of those situations though where it's a good ideal if the warrior didn't put all his stat points into strength and stamina. A few points in wisdom are often a good move after all.
One thing I've wondered about these stories though is they never set a time limit for how long one has to answer the actual question. If there isn't one there's quite a few ways to get out of the situation without dying I do believe.

It depends on which mythology you use. Ancient Egypt--no wings. Classical Greece--did have wings.

Thaaaat was a double entendre. Answer the third riddle and you'll get lucky with her. Nothing attracts Sphinxes like wisdom and intellect!
