Excellent use of the rule of thirds here. Because of the blurring of the background here, it can be said not a lot is happening, but the idea of less is more works beautifully.

This allows the viewer to imagine their own scenery. It may not be the right imagination, but it's theirs.

That blurry backdrop is raided with mystery I really find it hard to tell what exactly it is.
And the tree trunk makes a nice contrast with the background Nice shot.
