That's pretty cool - having a turtle as a pet. I wouldn't mind having one myself one day. Or maybe a lizard, I love lizards.

They're super smart, and love climbing and walking. Lala (that's my turtle's name) is almost 14, and he loves climbing out of his aquarium and following us around the house. And if he's in the mood, he can even let me cuddle him on the head.

I bet they're a bit expensive to keep, no? Do they need special foods or something? Sorry, I don't know much about that.

Oh no, not at all! They do have their special foods, but they also like fish and chicken. And babies like salads. The most expencive thing about them is buying them a good aquarium, since they love to swim, but they are also known for their love towards climbing out. so the trick is to find a water tank that's not too small (they grow no matter how old they are-as long as they have enough space) so they could swim and grow, but also not too deep, so they can go out and pace around the house. They are amazing pets!

...but since they were super popular in the '90s, they are kinda off the market now. :\

Oh, I'll look into it a bit more then. I probably wont be able to get one in the near future but I would definitely think about it later. I think I've seen them in pet shops here as well.
