Did you know that sirens are actually bird-women, not mermaids? I just learned that, so here's one pulling a ship into her. Another drawing for the skribble contest. White charcoal, charcoal, and conte on black paper. The color is a little off from the original, but I like it. I might switch out a better picture for it if I can get one that's a little less blurry.Related content

Yeah, it does make sense that they were birds to start with, especially since birds are known to "sing"
