Just a standard craft ex-acto knife. Β No seekrit tools. Β (I did have to mod podge the feathers first, so that they would hold their shape when cut.

No. Β I don't think Emus even HAVE large feathers like this, do they? Β When I've seen them, they have these odd, little fern-like feathers, but that's only at the zoo. Β I haven't had the chance to look too closely. Β These were either peacock or Β turkey wing feathers. Β I have both types of birds, and wasn't really paying attention to which one they belonged to when I was collecting them.
