This is for my good internet friend, *InsanityKitty524I'm not sure what is happening here. It took me forever to draw because I had to redo it a couple of times and I had a heck of a time blinding the colors T_T But it came out well in the end. Hooray.

You've obviously got proportions down and let's face it, a lot of people don't. That being said, You need darker shadows to express deeper form. Your lighting does seem to have a fixed position but the lower half of the grey pegasi seems to be a little less well shadowed, also the manes and tails are lacking much more of the shading they need. Try to avoid placing the subject dead center, use your rule of thirds; it will make a better composition. Other than that the left shoulder on the brown pegasi looks a bit strange, almost as if it has been popped from the socket and dislocated from the pony's usual sleek body. Good job though.

Yeah, I took like one drawing class in community college, and my work sucks pretty hard. But if I where you I wouldn't worry too much. Art isn't something that takes formal training to be good at. It takes practice, and experimentation. keep trying to push in new techniques and concepts in your work. If you have the motivation, you'll be surprised with the results.

I experiment a lot in small ways, which is why the shoulder looked funny. I was playing with shadows to see how it would look. I sometimes shade hair and I sometimes don't. I guess it just depends on my mood (tho I've had cases where shading the hair made it look really weird [link] ) Most of the time my experiments don't work but occasionally I stumble across something awesome :3 I request critques because sometimes it's hard for me to notice every flaw. I'll catch some things, but not everything, you know?

Me and meh good freind, were derping around on GMod last night- mainly with the SCar mod. We also had a long deathmatch, and he tried to use an Umbreon ragdoll to kill me once. Now that I look back, I think that I could have combated that by whacking him over the head with Princess Celestia

I know, I absolutely owned him with the Pulse-Rifle. And one time I RPG'd him just as he hit me with the crossbow. It was such epicness. He got me with Rayquaza, though DX
