Its extra potent because slowly these industrial factories across America are fast becoming a thing of the past as we have given up manufacture in this country. And so in a sense its like photographing Bill Cody's wild west...part of a long ago yesterday. They are abandon and forgotten now. When walking through them alone the "subjects" and how the light is cast on them seemingly dictate how they want to be "represented" all on their own accord. At least this was my experience doing when doing this project. You are not wrong in my opinion...B&W is so much more real even though we see in color.
I thank you John for your interest and encouragement and if ever you get an opportunity to photograph one of these babies...by all mean you must. I am certainly you would do a very commendable job
