Every place where people can hide and who would want to do you harm is dangerous

This is such a great idea for a photographic collection! The black-and-white adds to the gritty feeling on these and they are well named.

Thank you so much, Kathleen. Yes I agree the black & white format really sets the stage.

I love the angle on this. The grate provides nice leading lines to the door. BTW, I sent *sethlamden your way. He's got some amazing work, and he's working with film.

Thx Steve. Yes I did meet him and he seems like a very nice person. I checked out his work and I agree with you...he work is interesting and good. Thx.

He said he was shooting mostly 400 speed film (ilford HP5), but may want to venture out into other brands or speeds. I believe he is also doing his own processing. You would probably be able to give him more insight since I shoot mostly delta 100 when I shoot film, and I don't know anything about processing.

Dr. Wobbly...I am shocked that you haven't gotten into processing...what with your chemistry background and all

I try to help all, with my small knowledge, who may need it.

I've wanted to, but cost has always gotten in the way. For example, today I'm sitting at home because my hours have been cut at work, and now I have plumbing issues. I've got so many other projects going on that my photography has to take a back seat. Not having a good day. Sorry, rant over.

Steve, I'm Sorry to hear that about your job...that sucks and is happening to too many people. The bright side is that you still have the job, albeit less money. My brother was just laid-off from a 10 year job.

Now as for plumbing issues I do hope that your are referring to the copper pipe kind and not your internal plumbing

Feel free to rant whenever and about whatever...good or bad. If it helps I have bummer news as well...starting with the loss of my best bud, my French Bull Dog, Happyjack...I have pics of him in my gallery. He died in my arms a few days ago and now my step dad is day to day...dying from cancer. Sucky summer...the whole point is when one has troubles, look at someone else's and hopefully yours don't seem so bad

It's poor business practices that cost us, the guys who do the work, our hours. Hopefully it will be short term, but there was no time frame given. The plumbing was a blown out wax ring (second time I've had to replace it in a year). The house was built in 1915, and I've come to find out that a lot of past repairs were done half-assed. In order for the repair to be done correctly, I will need to rip out the entire plumbing and start from scratch. Unfortunately, with the job situation, I had to half-ass the repair again.

I'm so sorry about Happyjack. It's the absolute worst when your most loyal friend passes. I send my condolences, as does =irishcompass . I wish your step dad well, and you too. I will keep you in my thoughts.

So kind of both of you, really touches my heart strings...I miss him and his clowny ways so much more each passing day.

As for your plumbing...thanks for the laugh. Half ass is, as half ass does Wobbly Gump
