Photo taken 2008 of Grand Canyon's South Rim. Compare this photo to the North Rim...the Grand Canyon's North Rim has more rainfall and thus more vegetation whereas the Grand Canyon's South Rim is drier. Lots of clouds that day, hence the Canyon is in shadow and the colors muted.Related content
