Description This is a model of a spaceship that will apear in my short film I am working on.
Its 49,973 polys and has 76 texture maps.
It measures 1.1Kmx1.9Kmx6.2Km(WxHxD).

Yeah looking good as always. man i can't believe lightwave opened with 76 textures on it hehe . I think it would look a little better if you evened out the polys on the model as you have it crazy high on the engines but only 9 around the end of the back engine guard. I like the blue parts but there is something kind of weird about them though. They look like they're obviously supposed to be there but the close ups make it look like it's rust and it's eroding, and other parts as if the hul is flesh and it's been torn open. so i don't know if this is the desire effect you wanted but i just think it might look a better if if it's supposed to be there on purpoes then make it look like it is. Overall though it's way better then your previous version. Good work

I did want to give it a semi-organic look, think of it as a kind of shell. And about the polys, yeah I know but time is running out fast and I dont really have time to go back and fix things that didnt come out right in the first attempt.
All I wish for is that it will be flying past the screen too fast to realise that the rear bit is quite low poly.

awesome design and textures man, i just think the white colour seems abit off (doesnt seem to really go with the blue)

I actually used lightwave, but I think I know what your talking about. And all the textures are done by hand, apart form the black trim on some of the shell, I used a procedural.

oh, sorry you were talking about the blue effect, well its actually a procedural called 'FMB' I think.
