Fish is an animal, cat is an animal...humans just like ignoring the fact they're eating an animal when it's convenient for them. Some cultures eat baby cows, some eat baby cats. It's in no way different.

Im actually one of the few people in America that don't judge eating habits of other cultures.
You can eat all the baby cows and scorpions you want. I, however, don't like eating my pets. Which is why i also won't name a cow. It gets weird to eat bond with Daisy, then eat her.

My point was, it seems like your eating them as still living, wiggling little balls of 'meow', which is cute until you imagine taking a chomp out of a baby kitten saying 'meirrr'.
