Description I was watching a documentary on dinosaurs. Surprisingly one of the most feared dinosaurs is one of the most nurturing. The Tyrannosaurus Rex will do anything to protect it's baby. The average T-Rex was about 18 feet tall and 40 feet long, where as the newborns are only 3 feet tall. I thought it was adorable how small the hatchlings are compared to the mother. So I got this idea to draw them nuzzling.

Materials used: Coffee, Waterproof ink & Re-loadable pen, W&N Cotman Watercolor paints (I was using 3 dollar paints from walmart that were 10 years old! LOL. I finally have professsional paints!! )

That's awesome though X) I loved seeing it live, and I wish they had a soundtrack on the internet or something, because the music was lovely.. :3..

Hope you get a chance to go someday- it's so cool.. it's not just for kids like I thought it would be- I was thoroughly entertained myself! X)

I totally agree, it's super cute. T-rex's only give birth to a few babies at a time, so they have to make sure to protect their young. Unlike sauroposeidon who laid all their eggs together in hopes there will be too many babies to eat so there's bound to be survivors. xD

I'm using Daler Rowney Simply watercolour paper. It's pretty inexpensive and great quality.
