This is Alissa VincentIf you've ever watched Deadspace: Downfall then you know how amazing and kick-butt this character is.
Definitely my fav red-headed character of all time XD (Which is saying something because I am also red-headed)
I'd have to say the hardest part about drawing this pic was drawing that monster of a weapon in her hand but a long stretch of time (and maybe eight references of it later) I finally pegged it pretty well.
I totally cheated and used the straight line tool over top of the sketch of the weapon to get the lines straight on it tho XD
Also, I didn't shade because I am lazy... that and other reasons OTL
Anyways haven't submitted anything in a while, thought y'all would like to see something
So here is a drawing that is not drawn quite up to the standard I would like it to be but isn't to bad taking everything into account

Yeah that movie is pretty psyco O.o
One of my friends had nightmares after it...
But it was still a decent movie, even if it is nightmare-inducing.
Or maybe because of, not in spite of, it seems that movies that induce a lasting impression of any kind are always good to some extent

I didn't get nightmares. But this movie sure has left me with quite an impression. In fact, there are a number of movies I'm familiar with that have left me with a lasting impression. Dead Space: Downfall may not have been an academy award winner. But it sure as hell was worth the watch. I was a bit depressed with Vincent's demise near the end of the film just before the Kellion arrives. I was hoping that she would somehow survive. But I guess since the film is a prequel to the game, the end of the film along with the intro of the game hints out that there were few to no survivors of the initial outbreak. But either way, Downfall was quite refreshing from the usual animated films we get nowadays.

You're not alone. Vincent ' s death felt like a punch in the gut. She had all the makings of a great Sci-Fi hero in the same vein as Ellen Ripley. Instead, she just became another nameless corpse, floating in space where she will likely never be retrieved for proper burial, or posthumous honours. Just an insignificant number instead of a person who had a name.
Shen's death was pretty horrific as well

Yeah. The vast emptiness of space is her grave.
And yes, I agree, Shen's death is perhaps the goriest and the most violent of all the deaths in the movie.

I didnt know you watched the movie! i prolly wudnt have if it werent for my dad becoming more a dead space fan than me and searching for movies
But this is pretty sweet, blood looks good too. I was thinking of slappin my self and doing some ds fanart again since i was lazy the first time.

Yeah I watched it ages back but I just recently got it on my comp so I rewatched it. Felt like drawing her.
I'm glad you like it. Makes me feel semi-accomplished that another Dead Space fan doesn't think it looks like crap XD
I didn't think you were lazy the first time, I LOVED your attempt at Isaac :3 but by all means if you want to give it another go don't have me stop you
