I remember those days where my mom would take me shopping and I would be bored to death. I'd try things such as telling her I feel sick or stuff like that just to get out of it.
My mom was a slow shopper too! She takes two hours to go to the grocery store!

thanks. yeah, pedophiles pervs and terrorists have made candid photography a pain in the ass. there are so many creepy folks out there with camera phone shooting up girls skirts etc, that anytime you hold your camera up to your face, folks assume you are one of the above. especially with kids.

i was at this church shooting some design elements for this class im in and i saw this long winding set of stairs with perfect lighting on these kids. they were skipping and playing as they went down, probably about 4 years old or so. I wanted to steal a shot but the way the church people glared i me, i just kept on walking, heh.
also, i went to my state capital once and was shooting some photos and three police officers approaced me no longer than three clicks of the cam later, demanding to see the shots i had taken. I played the amatuer card really hard that day and showed them some pictures of items i was selling on on ebay. heh. apparently its an actual crime now to take pics of federal buildings because of the terrorist element. i was only like 17 at the time so it was extra ridiculous.

That's really too bad... Fortunately DC isn't like that, or I'd go freakin' crazy. There's lots to see and photograph there. It's also too bad about the church picture- I would've really liked to have seen that!
