Real Life:
Tartar's hat looks like a cone, but its actually its exoskeleton, made with the same thing as shells. They also have a high level of bioluminescence in the grey "tail" on the back of tar-tar, the same thing as fireflies and glow worms. It isnt known why, but its most likely either a mating ritual, or communicating. It is often mistaken as live tar.
Gelitar are larger relatives of tartars, with 2 shells, for extra protection. They now have 2 "tails" giving even more ways to communicate. They often are around packs, and if one senses danger, its tails will glow red and they will hide in the shells. However, for mating, they usually split up, and after mating, will find new packs.
Tariffics are so sticky, they can pick up almost anything smaller than itself. They now have 3 shells and 3 tails, for more protection and more communication. These nocturnal slugs are huge, almost as big as a giant florida conch, But there shells are extremely shell from its body size. They often use often other items it picks up for protection instead.

Great job! These Pokémon are what Trubbish and Garbador should have been!

I definitely would have preferred it if Pokémon used Tartar instead of Trubbish. Great idea!

Thanks, I don't mind trubbish so much - it kind of grew on me - but garbador is just so hideous

Yeah, I guess Trubbish is kinda decent, now that I look at it clearly. I still think it's a silly idea, but, eh, it could've looked worse. Ugh, Garbador is hideous. I think the pom-poms on it's head make it look even more ridiculous...
I find it a bit of a funny sight, though, hah.

Ah, I agree with those statements, hah. Hopefully Pokémon doesn't get so uncreative that it slaps eyes on everything and calls it a new Pokémon. A feces Pokémon would be horrible, lol.
