I decided to color this bad boy. I've been itching to try out my tablet in matters of inking and coloring. My inking can use a LOT of work
but I do like the coloring. The coloring style is new for me. I watched the artist of the webcomic "Looking For Group" color one of the comic pages. [link] Hooray for youtube! Anyway, I adore how that comic looks, and I've been trying to work on my coloring technique. After watching him color, I think this could work. Let me know what you think.
This is practice ink/coloring piece, more than anything. I quite like it, but I know I need to keep practicing.
And yes, bad background is bad. Hooray for textures in Photoshop!

This. Is. Just. Priceless. I love it! I mean, seriously I can picture is image in my head, only with me and my annoying little twin brother when he goes crazy/spazzy. I'd be Crane, of course, and he'd be Jervis. And I am just 1.11 seconds away from slapping him all the way to Arkham Asylum.
Hahaha, are Scarecrow and Mad Hatter really like this in the comics? Or at least the cartoons? I MUST KNOW!!

Well, they do tend to bicker a little bit in "Batman: The Long Halloween," but I think it's the fandom that really turned them into this.

This is positively delightful!
The coloring on Tetch and Crane is great; nice rich colors, very smooth, with excellent use of light and shadow.
Methinks 'tis still the facial expressions that make this.
Poor unamused Scarecrow; he appears to be considering the possibility of slipping away from Tetch and out of the picture.
And the way Hatter's face is half hidden over his shoulder, with that paranoid look in his wide eyes...it's positively adorable.
I can just hear him saying "The tarts, Scarecrow! The Tarts!"
Poor thing. Surrounded by knaves and Rogues.

Hee hee, the facial expressions of these two are always a joy to work on. Crane is always so cranky, and Jervis is just all over the place. I am very glad you like the coloring! I am quite fond of the technique and have been practicing with it during the chances I get.

I think you may be the first to notice poor Jervis's expression before Scarecrow's face turns this into a comedic piece. I love doing contrasting emotions between these two fine villains.
