*The download looks the best. Download or full view, please*This is what happens when I watch Batman after watching Disney's Alice in Wonderland.
This is the first and more-than-likely the LAST time I will be drawing Temple Fugate, The Clock King. He has to be my least favorite Batman villain.
Anyway, I was watching the Mad Tea Party scene in Alice in Wonderland where the Hatter takes the White Rabbit's watch and pretty much destroys it. The connection between the Clock King and the White Rabbit struck me a few days ago and I started laughing so hard as this picture popped into my head.
Mad Hatter: "Well, no wonder you're late! Why, this clock is exactly two days slow!"
White Rabbit: "Two days slow?!"
Mad Hatter: "Of course you're late! Ha ha ha, my goodness...we'll have to look into this."
*puts shaker into eye and leans over the clock*
Mad Hatter: "Ah HAA! I see what's wrong with this!"
*takes fork and starts ripping the clock apart*
Mad Hatter: "Why, this watch is full of wheels!"
*White Rabbit freaks*
...Don't ask me why the Clock King is even there. I honestly have no idea. Maybe he just had some time to kill.
Yay for Jervis making Fugate scream!

Granted my only exposure to the character is in the B:TAS version (and some of B:TBATB), but he's so corny! I love myself a good pun here and there, don't get me wrong, but the Clock King just exceeded my limits.

Well I like his design in BATB but if DC had given him more episodes in BTAS, then i'm sure a better character would have come through eventually!

I don't know if they would have been able to do anything more with the BTAS Clock King. That first episode with him just did it for me. I'll admit the next episode with him was better, but it didn't make me like the character more.
I actually enjoy the Clock King in BATB. I had done this drawing before I had seen him in his new design.
