As the rules ask one to draw something that expresses why you love Sonic, so here's my story-

Back in the 90's, the days of the Sega Saturn, I went to a bad school. I got picked on a lot, so I was usually pretty depressed. But, the highlight of the week was always when school was over on Friday. Once I'd finished my homework, it was great to switch on the Saturn, load up Sonic Jam and speed through a few levels (such as Sonic 2's Hilltop zone, which I tried to emulate in the image), or pop in an episode of AoSTH and laugh at the badguy's antics. I've always loved that fun, carefree feeling the old games and cartoons had about them. It was a means of escapism; you leave your problems behind, sit back and enjoy. This is expressed in the picture by Sonic and Tails, cheerfully leaving the badguys in the dust. They're literally leaving their problems behind and enjoying the moment.

So, to put it simply, that, to me, is what Sonic The Hedgehog is all about- Escaping your troubles and having fun.
