I can't draw worth a crap, so it'll probably be all writing. Unless I get someone I know to illustrate it. If I'm feeling risky, I might do some poem entries as well.

That sounds pretty cool. I think I'll be doing comic book style, but since it all has to be on one page (submission limitation reasons) I'll probably have a VERY long format in single stacked pages.
I'm also trying to recruit people, because the more the merrier (and more varied this game will be)

I suppose it's true. I've only written a few things, but it's because I discovered how to add text about three weeks ago for a contest. I love to write, but it's hard for me because I love to read, so I'll go back for reference on it and re-read the entire thing that I have written, which takes up a lot of time.

Yeah, that's why I've been sticking with more short format stuff. Like under 1024 characters short . One of them was actually the start of the character that would later become Jonathan Slain .

Thanks! I'm looking forward to competing with you as well. Perhaps our characters can team up at some point. (Though I may have to make some adjustments to mine first. I'm starting to think he's going to have a certain level of technophobia.)

Haha, my character has a pretty crappy past, so she has a lot of trust issues, but maybe it could be an uneasy alliance. You know, they team up cause they have to.
I think because mine is comic form, I'll post an "official" entry for the month, but have other ones that it links to, so people know what she's been up to. That way I can progress her journey a little faster.

Okay, wierd question time. If you could get any actor to play your character, who would it be and why? (This also gives me a visual reference in case I have to draw Slain later on

I just have a couple of comments.
One is that the weapons feel very out of place on a cyborg from another planet 50 years in the future. Autorevolvers are very rare even today, so I'm not sure how they'd last 50ish years into the future and onto another world. Her weapons are all normal, and yet she has nanobots and cyborg parts. It just feels inconsistent. Like you gave her those weapons because you thought they were cool. (Which I may be guilty of as well with my character, but it fits his occupation and mindset.)
Then with the nanobots, you have to be careful, because nanobots are the sci-fi equivalent to God Mode. You can explain anything with nanobots, so if you aren't careful, it could lose credibility really fast.
Other than that, Veronica looks like an interesting character. I'm wondering what will happen when she runs across a certain Detective Jonathan Slain.

Hahaha, definetely guilty of the "cool" factor in this. I actually don't know much about real guns except through video games like Call of Duty.
I think it's just her preference, since she's not from earth. Perhaps they just look like autorevolvers, but shoot different types of lasers? I don't know yet. They looked cool enough ( I like the barrel on a revolver).
The nanobots just help with the fun. That way people don't have to worry about causing permanent damage, although she still has to take time to heal, just less than someone without them. I don't think I want to get too God-like. I'll probably use this to expand her all to human emotions and past.
I'll have to check out this Slain. She just might need to prepare to meet him...
