Stunning... the realness of the lighting on what appears to be a wizard unicorn (pretty cool already) takes this art out of the realms of fan-art and into masterpiece. I've been staring at this for the past few minutes
unable to look away from the detail from the books and the floor and the bricks and the candle and the eyes...blearfhgjhlgfhbnh

...I don't think Star Swirl would have kept a pony's skull on his desk - at least, not as a candleholder.

Why not it is useful for studing of anatomy, it looks cool and who wouln't want a scull of your own species on your desk.
I mean sculls are cool, I once where in the catacombs in Paris that had walls made of sculls that was wicked cool to see. And why do you think that the caretakes insisted on looking trough all the tourist bags on the way out? Not that I would actually steel but sculls seriously sculls is there anything cooler then a real life human scull?
I just wished I could have camped down there, sleeping with all the sculls.
But seriously, why wouldn't star Swirl have a few sculls lying around? and what is more badass then to have one as a candleholder?
