Just a quick painting. A derivative of the Chat Noir poster, but I decided to make my own version using a happy looking white cat, and a different kind of simple, primary look.Painted on large black poster board with acrylic paint. The shadows were made by letting the black show through rather than painting in shadows. I kept it simple and primitive, thus the really obvious and chunky brush strokes. You can still see my pencil marks in the scan..
I might re-do it more "professionally" but for now, it just hangs on my wall as decor.
