I had so much trouble with the collar.. im not as detailed as snowy ;-; she makes beautiful work and i make.. this lol
OMG AND GUESS WHAT :0
yes the constellation inside her is Canis Major and Snowy's star is located at the throat, though the original plan was the heart r.r stupid constellation and its stiffness.. so its more like M41 (a galaxy if i'm right, and the little stary circle there) at the heart. ENJOY IT D:< xDD

You know what's funny, I've had the exact same idea for a picture but I could never pull it off like this! Because you're right, the constellation IS really stiff, so I was like "I could make Sirius line up with the star in the collar"... and then I tried it and it looked like crap. But you nailed it! I love the angle, both with her outline itself and the whole constellation. I like how her outline is blue/white like Sirius itself is. 
And I like little M41 in the middle there... I think a galaxy makes a good heart. XD You've also made me want to try drawing aurora again.

and thanks you much! Though I could NEVER match your flowy technique and backgrounds, as well as your amazing fur detail :3 and actually the blue and white is from Snowy herself than from the star. in her 08 ref it says white with blue shade soo yea lol
and yea.. M41 was a last minute addition. at first i wanted Sirius at the heart, but as you can see it didnt work that way, so more research on the constellation lead to that.. and your welcome!! and thanks again <3
