I can see a lot of effort puted into making this face. Details are fine and very well made. Also hair. However the rest is very minimalistic. Whole torso and arms are just a shadows with different shades of gray. I think this art is steal unfinished in some way. Proportions are fine. The concept is great but it needs upgrade. The hands of shadow thing are just...Not very well made. Maybe this hand should be white and more disgusting. I don't know. Not my work, not my concept. I also don't know why you decided to implement this dark red color. This isn't the light or anything like that (right?). Well i still think that this art. is in the process of making. It's not finished yet. [sorry for my English. i've got some problems with that.]

Absolutely in love with this artwork. The stark contrast between the black and the white creates a dark and gloomy feel, with the glimmer of red alluding to feelings of anger, rage and love. Her face portrays troubled feelings, with the lines flowing from her back conveying both a futuristic theme, as well as the idea of her soul being externally connected. This image is technically perfect and the use of blank space really is effective and adding a background would surely ruin the feel of the image, so great job there. This is a very inspiring piece, great work.

First of all, I've never done a critique before, so I hope I'm not too horrible.
For the "vision" aspect, you did well and I like how you placed everything in the painting, but you could perhaps add colors that are lighter than the darker ones so that it's easier to understand, path-wise (you know, how the eye is directed from one thing to the next). The "originality" is good as well, however I didn't give a complete five star score because I've seen other paintings and drawings similar to this idea. "Technique" was executed well too, although I would have given the hand at the bottom more depth than just a flat black color. And for the face, I feel that you could have smoothed out the lines, but this was probably your intention, so I scored you high anyways. As for "impact", I felt that I could relate to this piece and think that everyone should at least be able to imagine themselves in a similar situation if they want to truly understand how the artist is feeling. The title does indeed capture the mood of the picture, since the person looks unsure. The creepy hands coming up from behind her also help add to the mood since they look as though they are going to pull her into a deep and dark pit of doubt. Anyways, i hope this was somewhat helpful and have a lovely day! ;D

Ah, the strings of doubt which bind us and haunts us long afterward, and that grab and tear at us, stealing our joy. Her expression is but a hollow of who she once was, and the red tint beautifully symbolizes the self-crippling pain of doubt. Wow. I also like how her face seems normal, where the rest of her is not, speaking of how we may appear okay or normal on the outside, even as we are suffering from a disfiguring doubt inwardly.
