Description
Final project for my drawing class this year, and oh how I loved it! This piece is comprised of 10 cutout pieces, then colored and assembled together (I think I glued on the flashlight a little bit off, but I'm still happy altogether). The entire process, from drawing the cats to coloring to gluing them to each other was incredibly fun (even though I started the night before and finished it a few minutes before class started, hehe). Apparently the flashlight looks like a light saber ... didn't intend that, but I like it more now. XD Anyways, enjoy rainbow kitties!
Done with Prismacolor pencils, about 7 hours

no seriously, i love how each kitty has their own personality on their face, and the concept is really nice, simple but clear! you also managed to balance the greyish area and the colored area. The thing that interests me most is how the colored cats dont show expression as cheerful as the grey cats do

THANK YOU BYO!! Woah, I actually didn't notice how the happiest cats weren't the colored ones ... I bet there's some symbolism that could go with that! XD This was incredibly fun to make, and if you think it's a masterpiece, I must have done a pretty good job!

The fact that each cat is a different piece really gives the whole picture depth! And the idea is so creative!
After looking carefully at this, I realized the cats are different breeds. They're not just copy and paste cats! owo For some reason this amazes me and I love it!
