Well, some differences are that i am in Team Mystic because i adore the Ice type and Articuno is my favorite of the 3 legendary birds.
Also blue is my favorite color of all 3.
But the overall point is relateable.
I too have got like 0 friends.
Not sure if it is anxiety but i too am overly shy.

Oh, what a cute comic, I especially love the little animation at the end! 
I also have social anxiety and never talk to other people when I see them playing either, and kinda try to hide the fact that I'm playing, too. My BF is really the only person I play it with and talk to about it, and you're the first online person I've even told about it, haha! XD
