Description So this guy and his significant other are walking down the beach today. This dude looks tough, I mean hard as nails tough. Bald head, beard, and every extremity has some type of tattoo or another on it. Walking towards me, I didn't really notice he was holding his sweetie's hand, as they walked away, it occurred to me he was. I thought it was really a sweet shot.

Well, to further it a bit more, if you do expect the unexpected then you can actually clearly see all the magic and the miracles that happen from day to day that many people miss. The beauty of a Sunset, the promise of a sunrise, an ugly little worm that sleeps then awakens as a beautiful butterfly for my shutter and lens to capture.... The power of the waves on a shoreline that pounds hardened shells into sand. Birds that have been flying long before man ever figured out how to, with their beautiful graceful wings reaching out to capture the warm air rising off the land. Pelicans fishing off the coast, riding air currents continually watching for fish schools flashing in the water, then plunging down into the water to capture the fish in their bills.
These are but some of the miracles and magic that I expect to see, and I try to capture. Including the guy that looks like he could chew nails for breakfast, tenderly holding his sweethearts hand, strolling down the beach.

Wonderful capture! I normally am not a fan of beach B&Ws but I think it's perfect for the shot... It adds to it.

Thanks, I prefer color at the beach also, but for some reason, I thought the B&W worked well to set a mood for this.

in fact, that would about sum me up. Some times I can be bit too sensitive, and I see things that hurt, but that's the price you pay.
