It actually does pretty well up to about 3200. I don't like to shoot it that high though.

That's the big problem from older canon cameras too much noise at high ISO's but Nikon handles very good with that

Just about all older cameras didn't deal very well with high ISO's. SOme better than others.

Mine at 800 produces a lot and at 1600 it's impossible

Truthfully, I don't mind going to places like this, it's just that we don't generally go when we have to keep the $$$ expenditures in check. I like going and sitting down and having a drink as much as the next guy, but not when the money is tight.
