Is getting closed inside
Powerless and helpless and
Petrified
Trapped inside this capsule of a life
I can feel my world shifting, drifting

Blinded to the outside

So this is VERY relative on so many levels which is why I cannot say it is entirely original. That being said, I think what you have written is one of the best interpretations of this feeling that I have read. it has great flow and uses impact vocabulary.
That was my impression before listening to the track. After listening to it, I can say it is something that I can definitely appreciate and will surely download. The words are great by themselves, but the way they have been put together with the music adds to them. (which I think is often not the case) Kudos on this great musical creation and I will definitely be sharing this music with everyone!

For me, personally, this echos how I feel about my current spot in life. I see the sporadic, creative, and endless life outside, but I am ultimately locked inside my own rut and the unchanging routine we all grew up saying that we would avoid...While at the same time...the idea of change is almost taboo....to concerned about what would happen if something changed. That fear of the unknown causes the wonderful images of a different life outside of normality to turn to an "Endless Abyss", or a "Void".

This is very relatable and powerfully introspective to humanity in a way, admitting and expressing deep thoughts like this is not easy but does reward us with a better understanding of ourselves and the world. Thanks for sharing dude.
