Despite the mention of emptiness in your description, I find this image to be very rich and full of dynamic elements. The child running, the incredibly dark sky. A photo that captures a very empty place, and makes it come alive. Very cool!

I can relate to this photo. The old and empty barns around here are kindof depressing, but fun to explore. Sometimes if you're lucky, you'll find a stone or something with a date and/or name on it though Nice shot

Now that's a nice photo, it contains a breath of isolation an desperation yet it's very calm and it tells of hope and the clouds at least give it a peaceful touch.

you make me want to kick off my shoes and run through the grass. except....it looks too damned cold for bare feet!!! that sky makes for a powerful background to this shot, and i love the angle of the roofing of the buildings. your ability to capture an interesting profile in your pieces always makes for interesting viewing. i love the child .. it makes an otherwise deserted and cold shot, look quite warm.
