Description This beautiful little beach - which I'd be quite content to just sit at for a good part of the day - was perhaps a 10 minute walk from my hostel. Many reptiles and birds lived in the thin strip of mangrove forest bordering it.

And yes, the colours really were that rich. Darwin is a photographer's dream.

Oh yes. I loved Darwin -- and to think, I almost listened to people when they said going there was a waste of time if I wasn't going to Kakadu and Litchfield! (they are wrong! Very very wrong!)
