WSC- DRAWING CONFLICT - Sat-Sun 4-5 August 2018

Figured I’d get creative with the Weekend Challenge this time around as it occured to me that telling a story is the true purpose of the comic book artist. And since the best stories involve conflict of some kind (man vs man, man vs nature, etc.), I figured it would be a great suggestion to each of you to come up with a single dramatic or comedic image portraying a conflict of some kind. And it would allow me to skitter away while each of you come up with an idea with which to portray said conflict.

Remember, it can be as complicated or simple as you make it—for example: a game of cards; or an arguement between lovers; a hiker on a steep slope; a pair of boxers; two swordsmen dueling; two squirels fighting over an acorn; a baby struggling to stand up for the first time; a cosmic battle between armies of the hundreds; well, you get the gist.
