Hi there,
I've come from Project Comment and would just like to take a minute to go through a few things on the image.
First, I'd just like to say that you've done a great job! The artwork itself is crisp and clear, with a style that fits the subject matter, giving it a comicbook-esque appearance. While I love the Elder Scrolls series, it also has a striking resemblance to Drow elves from Forgotten Realms/D&D, which is also not intended as an insult of any kind .
Now, on to the criticism side of things.
First, I would say the background is in stark contrast to the image. I am not sure if this was done intentionally, but I found that the patterned background actually makes it lacklustre against the focal point of the elf. This is possibly because the colour pallete used for it is the same, so it doesn't clearly stand out from the background. As it is otherwise a plain background with no scenery, I would personally recommend using something in a different pallete so that the image jumps out. This is personal preference however .
Lastly, I would say that your darks need work on flesh. Dunmer typically have dark skin to begin with, so don't be afraid to go heavier on the darks. The very light shading on the skin results in it looking not quite flat, but not quite fleshed out either.
I have to ask as well, is the face modeled after the actor who plays Battiatus in Spartacus? Can't remember his name, but the resemblance is uncanny!
These are nitpicky criticisms, but I couldn't find anything else that really needs additional work on it. Keep at it and I hope this helps .
