Description Early Ford Bronco fully restored and dressed for success in a coat of lime green and black accents. Oh so nice. Wonder when it will actually play off-road instead of being a pavement Queen..........

That's exactly why whenever I decide to buy a truck for off-roading it's going to be an old school Chevrolet pick-up with an engine that's too damn big and wheels that match it with a rattle-a-can flat black paint job and roll bars. A friend from high school did it an I think it's a great idea. It's a truck with a purpose that is functional that is impressive because of it's ability and size not because it looks pretty. The only chrome that will be on it will be what's left of the bumpers, side mirrors, the column shifter and the shinny bits on the stereo. As for this thing, it looks good but unless you have the money to fix it/repair it you'd be afraid to hit a large rock let a lone a tree. You can't have fun unless you hit a tree.

I don't know about the hitting a tree part, crawling over sideways ones is more my style. And I just plain hate large rocks. Especially when they're all gathered having a good time on the very same hillside I need to come down.....

Haha yeah. I hear ya there. As far as the trees go, whenever my then 17 year old friend would take his 70s Chevy pickup muddin with 11in lift (5 body / 6 suspension) and 44 in tires. He would often joke about hitting a tree or two. He eventually rolled the truck when he was trying to test the articulation (is that the word) of his suspension by driving on a small steep hill or something. One side of the truck was on the hill, the other side on the ground. He went a little too far and the truck just went. Thankfully for him he installed roll bars the week prior. The windshield was trashed along with the cab. The bed was ok I think. Since then I always consider rolling over or hitting a tree to be the worst thing you could do while muddin or off-roading.
