Description

Following the ‘official’ disbanding of the Bureau of Investigation’s Counter Intelligence Program after its illegal activities were exposed, the Bureau secretly continued the program to continue monitoring and disrupting dissident groups into the 1980s.
The program assigned to disrupt and discredit groups utilizing or involving super human abilities was codenamed SANGUINE TENSOR. Their activities included propaganda designed to turn public opinion against activists with superpowers by labeling them as super villains, covert assassinations using the secret weapon known as SOLE WITNESS, and infiltration of these groups.
SANGUINE TENSOR maintained a list of most wanted targets, including:
CRYOHAZARD: Formerly known as Floyd Carter, a physicist involved in an experiment that proved the existence of extra dimensions, but turned him into a massive hyper dimensional monster that sucks heat out of this universe. He was briefly captured and used as a weapon against anti capitalist forces in South America. SANGUINE TENSOR is unsure if he can return to human form.
FURNACE: Appearing to share a common origin with project SOLE WITNESS, little is known about him. Like SOLE WITNESS, he has armor made of carbon allotropes, and has powerful pulse detonation engines throughout his body, allowing him to fly. He appears unable to talk, and only laughs.
THE SURGEON: Another product of the experiment that created CRYOHAZARD, she is partially displaced from our three spatial dimensions and can now bypass physical objects, easily passing through solid obstructions.
MECHA PUSSY: The single most wanted supervillian. MECHA PUSSY has unparalleled mechanical and AI expertise and uses remote controlled robots to terrorize CEOs she has deemed enemies of the people. What she looks like is unknown.
