After the two have met about an hour ago, they decided to sit down and talk about what happened and why they are now out in the woods. Sharing their tragic backstories, they couldn't help but shed tears.

"What happened to you're parents?", asked Roger.

"W..well....My mommy didn't actually love my daddy. She kept going out with other men, at least that's what my big bro, Lorda, told me. Mommy then left us, and Daddy wasn't very happy.... like, he didn't even take care of me....", said Venus.

"Oh...I'm so sorry about that...", said Roger. "Did you're brother take care of you?"

"Y..yes, he did, and I love him for that. Big Bro taught me everything, words, shapes, and colors. He also protected me from Daddy's anger...."

"Hold On! Are you saying he hurt you guys?!", exclaimed Roger. He couldn't believe this.

"Uh...uh...yeah...I think it's because he was angry about mommy...but Lorda made sure Daddy wouldn't hurt me. However, when we got older, he for some reason stopped being close to me.....and it seemed like he was annoyed...I couldn't take it with this and Daddy, so I ran away. I hope they're doing okay....", stated Venus, with big tears streaming down his face.

"I'm so so sorry you had to go through all that...", said Roger. His brother was probably like that because of the abuse., thought Roger.

"I...it's okay", said Venus. "Can you tell me what happened to you?"

"Uh, sure. To start off, I came from a small family. I had a half sister, her name was Isner. We had the same mom but different dads.", explained Roger.

"Wait, so you had TWO dads? That's so cool! What's a "Half Sibling?", asked Venus.

"Thanks! And to answer you're other question, basically think if a mother had two husbands. The mother had a child with one, and a child with the other. The child from the other father is a half sibling, got it?", explained Roger.

"Oooh...now I get it.. Continue..."

"So anyway, my father's name was Ken. Mom said he was quite stupid, heh...But unfortunately, he died trying to impress my mother. He thought he could take on a Beedrill, but it stung him. We couldn't save him in time, and he sadly died. I was so upset. After that, my mom got depression, and kinda forgot we were there. So it was just me, Isner, and my other dad, Jerry. Mom started to get anger issues, and I guess she was afraid she might lash out on us, so she left without even telling us. I cried for about two days. Losing my father was one thing, but to suddenly loose my mother as well, if it wasn't for Jerry and Isner still with me, I'd probably freak out.", said Roger, uncontrollably sobbing.

Venus just stared at Roger with shock. He had no words.

"We lived like this for a whole year. Isner eventually was old enough to leave and start her own life. I really didn't want her to go. I loved her so much. All that was left was me and Jerry. Jerry didn't know what to do. I don't think he could take care of me after everything that happened. So he came up with the idea: send me to another Yanma clan. I didn't want to go, but I knew it was the best option. I was accepted into a clan led by a Yanmega named Yanny. Then some brute Feraligatr named Claw, made us do all his dirty work, we barley got any food. It was AWFUL. Until one night, Yanny managed to get me out by a small crack in the cave we were in. He told me to go, and not look back. That's how eventually found you.", Roger said.

Venus starting crying out loud. He couldn't help it. He felt so bad for Roger.

"Hey...hey..shhhhh..It's okay, Veenie!", Roger reassured quietly. "It's going to be okay.....we're okay now......"
