At least this is my take on it. A little more lizard imo. I think it would have a tail to swim with. Makes for a much more interesting creature. Not to mention dangerous. I also gave it generous portions of skin around the neck stomach and the tops of the feet since I feel if its going to be swimming those parts will be stretched out most of the time. I tried looking at it as his body's natural resting position is swimming, standing on land is comfortable (like with lizards) but not as natural as in the water.
