Description The Champagne Pool, located in the Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal Region in Central North Island of New Zealand, is a prominent hot spring that features bright orange sulfur compounds and bubbling carbon dioxide gas. In this HDR image, the bright edges of the pool can be seen in the foreground, alongside the blur of the fast-moving fumes in the middleground, and the New Zealand landscape in the background.
