My contribution to 's second round of "Link's Blacklist." The forty artist collaboration project to draw every zelda monster! Last round I had the Darknut from Windwaker, and this round I have the Poes from Ocarina of Time. I snatched this one up because the OoT Poes are actually my favorite Zelda monster. I think they're slightly creepy and kind of adorable. :> And technically the big poe is a different monster than the regular ones that I claimed, but I wanted to draw them both. :II may make some modifications to this later. Not sure yet. But enjoy it for now! ^^

No offense, but the first time I looked at this I was a little busy and just passed through it like "hey, that looks familiar, next." But after going through this one, (and a few of your others) I have to say I really missed out on it. I love Poes, Zelda, Link, and your art. Keep it up

Oh, I haven't played anything but OOT. I just looked them up and wow, yeah, they went a little too "In-your-face-spooky" in Twilight Princess.

Yeah, I liked the the OoT versions were such a atypical look for a ghost. So when they went more "ghostly" in the later designs I thought it was a bit dull.

It's funny, I started replaying Oot and just got to the part where you have to get into the shadow temple. I just finished the part where you kill and talk to the two composer brothers! I was always a fan of the poes too! Although the poe sisters creeped me out in the forest temple.

I've always thought the poes quite interesting as well. Very cool~ I love how in Twilight princess you go after them as the wolf. xD
