Yes, Starlies are Black Phoebes (type of bird in real life that looks exactly like the bird in your artwork.) Phoebes are awesome. PHWEEBEEZ!!!!

Whenever I see little bird pokemon I always try to imitate their cry. I suck at it but it's fun anyway.
