....Then, Akatsuki had defeated the Kazekage and…and killed him. Lee tried to swallow the lump that had suddenly appeared in his throat. Now, looking back at that time, a despair and infuriated possessiveness clawed its way through his body. He knew that Gaara was alright, that he was alive and breathing downstairs. Still, the mental image of Gaara’s lifeless body sent something primitive roaring through his brain, warped and powerful as his voice when he began opening gates. Something has hurt your person. Hurt it.Lee took a deep breath, fighting down the urge to protect that seemed so quick to jump up these days. He was ready to kill now, but back then he had just…stood there. Watching. Then, as soon as he could, he’d left. Stay there, look at Gaara too long, and the whitewash would begin to chip off.
Meanwhile, the part of his brain that was not supposed to exist, did not exist, had screamed.

OMG Troublesome Medicine has to be my favourite Lee/ Gaara pairing ever. I do NOT remember reading that part though, so I'm going back haha. Great pic and that author needs to know how goddamn kick ass they are

You don't have to pay, but you have to be of legal adult age according to the website's policy. They find out very quickly if you cheat about your age though, and it wouldn't be right of me to send you her writing.
