IVE BEEN SEEING THESE SIRENS GOING AROUND AND I LOVE....them...
so i made my own rip
-her name is nunik!! (modified form of the inuit name nuniq which means female seal)
-she comes from the more northern colder areas of the sea and she is a killer hunter. shes p chubby bc she eats a lot and stores body fat like a seal for cold water
-she has melasma, which is the darker patches of skin on her arms and face. that's why the side of her tail is patchy too- it covers that whole side of her body when she's human. it spreads when she sits in the sun too long
-she doesnt actually become human a lot because she doesnt like to be laughed at for her skin. because she was viewed differently for it in the past when she tried to talk to humans as a human, she absolutely despises them, and will not hesitate to kill them.
-shes not very good at talking?? like?? she doesnt interact with even other sirens often and so she's really confusing to talk to- she talks in short phrases and mixes up her words a lot
-in the picture the lighter spots are just me shading whoops. the only real discoloration on her scales are the darker brown parts
-she views herself as a monster and acts as such
