I've been dabbling around with this character for the DeviantDead Zombie survival comic tourny. Though I'm rather hesitant if I have enough time to spew the comics out efficiently... We'll just have to see.Brief Bio:
Jhonathan Riley is your local city mortician, who firmly believes in the logical explanation of the mechanics that make the human body tick.. and what ways can make them stop. Fortunately for him, he'd managed a job that satisfied his intense curiosity, safely avoiding a life of serial killing for the most part.
However, it was at a cost; He lost the only relationship he had since university, faced family rejection for turning down his Doctor's PHD, became a social recluse, and as of recently, the cadavers in his morgue have come to life.
Unexpectedly, mild mannered Jhonathan Riley adopted his darker personality to survive and begins, surprising even himself, to enjoy the massacre that ensues in the story...

Dude, you know I already think you're a genius but you're a geniusss. I am already loving this guy /so much/. I don't know how you managed it, he looks very ordinary, yet compelling because of it... and his backpack is really.. cute! (And you say you liek the way *I* draw pants. Seriously, have you seen YOUR pants? <3!) It's also really clever that he actually enjoys the fact that there are zombies running around, it'll definitely make him stand out from the other competitors!
But it's great to see something finished from you >: )! I think the linework is sort of rough though.. It's not bad by any means but it'd look much better if it were smoother. Did you ink it digitally? You might want to try doing it at a higher resolution. As for entering, well, I hope you do, obviously! But you're wise to consider it carefully, rewarding as OCTs may be, they are time consuming. Nevertheless, I encourage you to send in your character sheet (getting involved early is a good idea!) and see how your audition fairs : )
