This costume, as with most of my costumes, is still very much a work in progress but we managed to get it done for Arcade Con where it was a blast to wear :3 Because we plan to do this cosplay with a big group, we ended up giving away these jackets to the charity auction. We'll be re-making them with matching fabric as the rest of our cosplay group at a later date.Because we were giving away the jackets we took some time to take a shot or two of the costumes.
Still missing some components of the straps, but those might end up being re-done too to match with the rest of our group. Uniform cosplays really do require uniformity! XD

I know what you mean about WIP cosplays. I never feel like anything is done, even when I wear mine to cons, and spend the duration of the con making a list of all the things I'll redo. Glad it's not just me, anyway.
Also, you've got an awesome cosplay. It's great that you got a group to go with you on it. Always better in a group, I say.

I'm also gonna cosplay Eren next year (gotta start planning in time...), but I'm having a bit of trouble with the jacket. What sort of fabric do you recommend and how did you make the pattern?

As someone who is working on cosplaying Eren myself, and as someone who is INSANELY obsessed with Shingeki no Kyojin, and hold it on a VERY high mantel, I'm highly overly critical of anyone cosplaying from it.
That said, the wig is EXCELLENT, and probably my favorite part of what you've accomplished thus far. I saw A LOT of SnK cosplayers over Anime Expo, and there were plenty of Erens in that who had very flat hair, which Eren does not have. His hair very much has the unkempt, spiky look to it, so very well done there.
I have no real right to say much else, because I haven't finished my own costume yet, and you aren't asking for a critique here. Again, EXTREMELY well done on the wig, and THANK YOU for doing his training/boot camp jacket, instead of JUST doing Legion Corps like everyone else does... I plan on doing both jackets, myself. Well, actually all 3(acceptance to boot camp/trainee/Legion). Seeing someone actually do his trainee patches makes me happy ^.^ I look forward to seeing further progress on this costume, and I'm glad you had fun wearing it!

During the VIP Brunch the exact same strap fell down at the same time before you two realized you's had to fix them X3
