Another photo of Fakir from Princess Tutu at Kei Kon. Took alot to get up into this tree, so thanks SO MUCH to Clint for giving me a boost up when i got stuck after trying to repel off some other tree... it was a stupid plan, especially when the next day, as Riku, I just climbed stright up without any help or fancy tree-ness. Awesome pose, and I love that Princess Tutu gets some attention! I love that series so much, and it doesn't seem to be known by many people at all. Your clothing and appearance are absolutely fabulous; I can tell that there was some thought put into this!

I love Princess Tutu, Fakir is one of my favs. i knew it would be a difficult cosplay because of his unusual hair, that's where most of the difficulty was XD
It's such an under appreciated series, glad to know another big fan of it!
Yus, I cosplayed Raimei (crossplay ftw!) for a Nabari no Ou photoshoot. I want to cosplay Yoite eventually, but Raimei really gave me a chance to do something really different!

Yay! I agree; Fakir is definitely one of my favorite characters in Princess Tutu. I can't imagine the difficulty of cosplaying Tutu characters, since their hair and outfits are extremely stylized, but you pulled it off amazingly well. *A* I'm really glad to see that there's a larger fandom for this... It seems like most of my favorite series have little to no fandom.
XD I have to be totally honest (and of course I hope this isn't taken the wrong way) and say that you made an amazing Raimei. In fact, I think it's probably the best Raimei cosplay I've ever seen. I-I was a little surprised when I looked at your page. :3 You're quite talented. X3

I have the jacket all prepared, it's just a matter of actually pulling a shoot together XD and I think my girlfriend wanted to make a different Miharu outfit too.
And I don't take that in the wrong way in the least! XD I'm very proud of being able to pull off crossplaying girls, even though it often confuses people
I'm also plannign do cospaly a few more of Fakir's outfits, and also Raikou from nabari no Ou as well (maybe) ^^

I just used normal cotten i think? it's just a sewn circle that goes over my head, it isn't actually attached XD

Yeah I did that too. I used the pattern of a collar from a turtleneck that was really loose...
