Our friend, Anndelese, has an awesome house. We went over to her house to film our Free!-House of Horrors skit (found here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nR0km… and OMG WAS THIS PLACE AMAZING. The view was breathtaking. We were taking some photos around sunset afterwards and Saiaphi got this one of me and I'm posting it less for the cosplay and more for the scenery XD

This could potentially look even cooler if you were somehow able to crop out the diving board and other signs that you're over a pool. I think you could actually make it look like Haruka is standing between the sea and sky!
Definitely some beautiful scenery! Great opportunity.

it looks like there is water in the background to me
so haru would probably look to the natural water source, which is in the direction he is looking right now ^^
the only thing haru loves more than pools and bathtubes is the sea I suppose :3
and regarding the fact that the pool reflects the clouds and the sky, which have the same deep blue in that picture, it's most likely that he looked at the pool, saw the clouds, got distracted and started looking an another direction before he wanted to jump ^^
and looking there would have made him notice that awesome blue color, which reminds him of water and because of that he had a hard time looking at the pool again

I wonder, do you think you ever get used to such stunning scenery? Or does it eventually become mundane and familiar? I'd like to think not. Perhaps that's just the kind of wishful thinking one accumulates from a lifetime on this grey, muddy little isle.
Either way, it's an wonderful shot. It's that wonderful time when the Sun and the Moon are walking towards one another, pause, give the other a curt nod and continue on their way
