Was at a panel recently discussing the role of cosplay in so-called 'mainstream' fandom, and what changes cosplay was making to the larger world of fandom. I mentioned that after 18 years of working conventions, 15 of which work working or running security, cons had stopped being fun, and I took a 2 year break.  What got me wanting to go back to cons was seeing videos of Fighting Dreamers Pro, and Koi Cosplay and just how much fun you were all having with each other.  It helped me remember how much fun fandom could be and made me miss it and want to go back.

All those older videos of you and your friends and all that Naruto cosplay and the immense amount of fun you were having.

Thanks for reminding me fans were fun people, not just people out to make problems.
